Grammy Winning Christian Singers 2020

On January 27, the 62nd installment of the Grammy Awards was celebrated, where multiple artists were awarded for their musical work, including performers of Christian music, and some of them, nominated, won up to two Grammys. The first of them to receive the award was Kirk Franklin, who received two awards, the first was for his song “Love Theory” in the category best Christian performance and the second for his production “Long live love” in the category of best Christian album

Kirk Franklin thanked for saying that he feels honored to have received an award in this great category such as Christian music, saying that there are many men and women of God who are also tremendous artists. He also stressed that all this is about making the world known that Christ is the King and talking only about Him.

Gloria Gaynor, Travis Greene, Koryn Hawthorne and Tasha Cobbs were also nominated. Franklin in his speech also paid tribute to the historic and deceased player Kobe Bryant.

In addition to Franklin, the group For King & Country won two Grammys, one for the song God Only Knows in the category of best Christian song and another in the category best contemporary album of Christian music with its production “Burn the ships”.

Another person who won this award was the Christian singer Gloria Gaynor for her album “Testimony”, who felt grateful for Christ having died on the cross.
