A recent Washington Post study determined that there are around 7,100 languages around the world, so there will always be some language that will surprise us when we read about it. This is the case of the “Tagalog” language, which you may have never heard (if not, say so in the comments). This is an Austronesian language of the Malayo-Polynesian branch that is spoken mostly in the Philippines.
