In the blood of Christ there is power, but not in the way of a ritual in which you proclaim His blood and things happen, but in the sense that His blood makes us saved and accepted before God the Father. That is why we must joyfully sing of the power that is in that blood that was shed for our price on the cross of Calvary.
The Bible tells us that no blood could give a perfect sacrifice, but Christ’s did:
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
