Eight christian players who participated in the Super Bowl

Last Sunday (February 13, 2022) the Super Bowl was held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. In this competition the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams faced each other.

In the famous Super Bowl of the NFL the championship was being defined and those who achieved victory were the Cincinnati Bengals with a margin of 23 to 20, a very close game.

Without a doubt, Christianity has spread to all parts of the world, and this includes the fact that we have Christians participating in the biggest competitions in the world, such as the NFL, and eight players participated in the last Super Bowl who have openly expressed their faith:

Evan Macpherson has set multiple records in the NFL, and in this year 2022, precisely in the month of January, after scoring one of his goals, he presented himself with a black shirt that contained the following message: “God is good”.

Davis-Gaither also shared a photo of his baptism on Instagram accompanied by the following words:

After 23 years, I am so proud to have given my life to Christ and received the gift of a new life.

Trey Hendrickson, who before the NFL Finals game commented, “My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is more to me than just football.”

Miguel Tomás, who had to remain without a team at the beginning of the season, showed signs of gratitude saying that man’s plans are one thing but God’s are another.

Also expressing their faith are Cooper Kupp (Rams wide receiver), who runs a Christian clothing line with his wife, and Jalen Ramsey, Odell Beckham Jr, who was baptized in the Jordan River in 2018.

And finally we have Johnny Hekker, captain of the Los Angeles Rams, who praised the Lord through social networks for his victory: “God is on the throne. He came with this season. #SuperBowl here we come!!!!
