Elon Musk on the teachings of Jesus: “There is great wisdom”

Elon Musk is a famous billionaire who in 2002 founded the SpaceX company. He recently participated in the podcast “Babylon Bee”, which is a popular Christian satire program that focuses on topics such as politics and religion and other topics of daily life.

Also present were Seth Dillon, Kyle Mann and Ethan Nicolle, all of them top executives. Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren was also present. They all discussed various topics in depth, about Jesus or about taxing the rich.

The famous Musk, who had previously claimed to be an atheist or an agnostic, was asked if he would accept Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Musk didn’t immediately respond, but instead released a joke about working on a Sunday:

How are we going to do the show on a Sunday? Why aren’t you pagans in the church? God said don’t work on Sundays, that’s fine. You go straight to hell for this one.

But Nicolle persisted with the question, to which Musk replied agreeing with some of Jesus’ principles, such as forgiveness, treating people the way you want them to treat you, etc. The famous continued:

But hey, if Jesus is saving people, I mean, I won’t get in His way. Sure, I’ll save myself. Why not?

Los del podcast Babylon celebraron esto, aludiendo que Musk aceptaría a Jesús, pero, no examinaron bien cuando el famoso billonario citó una frase de Albert Einstein del 1921 dicha en una sinagoga institucional de Nueva York:

I believe in Spinoza’s God who is revealed in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who cares about the destinies and actions of human beings.

The “God of Spinoza” is not the God revealed in the Bible. The God of the Bible is indeed a God who cares about the destiny and actions of every human being in this world. Let’s be very careful with our emotions when we hear a famous person say something.
