New Netflix movie will tell the true story of a Christian orphanage in Mexico

The true story of a Christian orphanage in Mexico is what the new Christian movie from Netflix will tell us, with Christian actor Dennis Quaid.

The film is titled “Blue Miracle” and tells the story and struggle of an orphanage to survive after in 2014 it faced the misfortune of going through Hurricane Odile. The film tells us that in order to save their orphanage, children must participate in the largest fishing competition in the world.

Wade Malloy (character played by Quaid) had obtained two great victories in the competition and it is he who, after a participation agreement, helps the children compete in the Bisbee’s Black & Blue Fishing tournament.

Blue Miracle also has the participation of Anthony González, Raymond Cruz, Nathan Arenas, Miguel Ángel García, Isaac Arellanes, Steve Gutiérrez, Dana Wheeler-Nicholson, Fernanda Urrejola, Silverio Palacios and Bruce McGill.

The film was written by Chris Dowling, author of “Running for a Dream,” and Julio Quintana (“The Messenger”). The music and sound correspond exclusively to the Christian hip-hop label Reach Records, with songs by Grammy-winning artists such as Lecrae and GAWVI, WHATUPRG and 1K Phew.

“Blue Miracle” will be released on the Netflix platform on May 27, 2021.
