Currently we must be very careful in everything we say, because a group can be offended and you can even be sued. Simply put, we live in a world where they want you to be tolerant of them, but they are not tolerant of you.
The Brazilian Christian singer Ana Paula Valadão has been sued for having spoken at the 2016 “Diante do trono” congress about homosexuality, exposing through the Bible that homosexuality is a sin, and it turns out that the Brazilian public ministry has accepted the demand.
Valadão, in an environment of Christian activity and without wanting to disrespect anyone, exposed how AIDS, for example, has multiplied more in homosexual relationships, and how God throughout the Bible condemns this practice.
The plaintiff was an LGBT activist named Agripino Magalhães, who made a request to the Brazilian public prosecutor to determine the “level of crime” committed by the artist.
The Bible had already prophesied this:
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Matthew 10:22 (KJV)
One thing is for sure, the message of the Bible will offend many who are doing exactly what the Bible condemns and our duty as Christians is to stand firm in what the Bible says even if it costs us demands and hatred from others.
