Karen Montero is a young Dominican Christian who has just turned 15, she has such an incredible talent in singing that she moved an entire audience on Dominicana’s Got Talent. The young woman explained to the judges that her talent has simply been honed by singing in church.
The young woman highlighted in an interview that at the age of 8 her mother noticed how she learned songs easily. In the church they began to discover that talent and in this way the church became her first stage to develop in singing.
The talent that she shows at this young age is very impressive, and the most impressive thing is that she has not taken music classes, it is a totally natural talent, which she considers a gift from God.
She was also asked that if she won the contest what she would do with the money (3 million Dominican pesos). The young woman responded in a very mature way, saying that the first thing would be to help her family, position them better economically and help her church so that it can have more space since it is very small.
Montero was the first to receive a Golden Buzzer in the second season of Dominicana’s Got Talent by awakening various emotions performing the song Rise Up by singer Andra Day.
