Festival of the Christian voice announced in the Dominican Republic

The official website of the Mayor’s Office of Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic, has published an article with the specifications of the first festival of the Christian voice where the best talents will be recognized.

According to the mayor’s office, this festival will be held every year. The prizes will be 100 thousand dominican pesos in cash, recording of a single and studies in a music school.

After the presentation of the event, registrations were formally open until October 11. Participants will be selected by casting via the Zoom platform and a representation from each community in the municipality will be chosen.

The mayor of Santo Domingo Norte, Carlos Guzmán, applauded the initiative of this project and urged that it continue to be celebrated every year.

The festival will be represented by a jury of musicians and singers who have great experience in musical productions that have been very successful.

In this contest, 5 towns will participate: Los Guaricanos, La Victoria, El Higüero, Sabana Perdida and Villa Mella.

This event will be held on December 5, 2020 at the Hermanos Rojas Alou baseball stadium, on Avenida Charles de Gaulle.
