Queen Esther musical to air live on September 4

Sigh & Sound Theater will present a musical that will be their first live global broadcast titled “Queen Esther”.

Like other interesting projects, this musical had been canceled at the beginning of this 2020 due to the coronavirus. But it will finally be available as a live broadcast on September 4 at 7:00 p.m. in time of the east coast of the United States.

Without a doubt, this musical has already been a success since before, because a few months ago more than 550,000 tickets had been sold for the event, but after the closing orders due to the pandemic, the theater was forced to close its doors .

Katie Miller, corporate communications manager for Sight & Sound said:

This year has been incredibly challenging, but we continue to see God’s faithfulness every step of the way.

After canceling more than 200 shows and knowing that hundreds of thousands of people would not be able to experience the powerful message of ‘Queen Esther’, we knew we had to do something.

With the future still uncertain, not knowing when we will be able to welcome crowds again, we began to walk in prayer towards the idea of the first live broadcast of a Sight & Sound program. We are so excited to take the next step of extending the ministry beyond our walls and offering ‘Queen Esther Live!’
