Fans of the popular Christian novel “Redeeming Love” are happy, as they have received a sneak preview of the new film adaptation that will be out the following year. This movie is based on author Francine Rivers’ best-selling book, which has sold over three million copies worldwide.
This film version is starring Abigail Cowen, who fans can remember for her supporting role in the Christian artist-based film Jeremy Camp titled “I Still Believe” and produced by Roma Downey, creator of the television show “The Bible.”
Cindy Bon, co-producer of this production, who worked on the hit Christian movie “I Can Only Imagine,” said this book has changed “literally countless lives”.
She also expressed:
“And this movie will change, I think, even substantially more lives”.
“Redeeming Love” is an allegory for Hosea’s book, which tells the story of Angel, who is sold as a prostitute as a child in Gold Rush California, who has almost given up her life when she meets Michael Hosea, who is determined to love her no matter how many times she rejects him.
