In worship there is something that many people still have not understood. Worshiping our God is great and powerful and it is a privilege we can give our adorations, make supplications before Him, He is God, we sing of His great glory and majesty.
The same Bible tells us that our God moves in the midst of the praises of His people, that is, when we worship the Lord, He is with us and many things can happen, because in the midst of these adorations to God there is freedom, joy , peace, and we receive strength from our God. This is the benefit of worship, so let’s sing each day for our God.
In Psalm 22 we find a cry of anguish and at the same time a song of praise:
2 O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
The people of Israel, despite their failings, humbled themselves before the Lord. In the portion we have just read we see the supplication of this people before the Lord, and although they were in anguish, they offered songs to the Lord, they worshiped the Lord in all their difficulties.
The Lord moved in the midst of the praises of this people, they knew how to humble themselves before God. God descended around them and moved in the midst of their praises.
