Prayer asking for mercy in time of trial

What do you do at trial times? Do you go to God or just drown in your difficulties? A person who does not know God may drown in their own problems, or simply seek professional or friend help. It is true that many people who profess God also in times of trials forget that they have an Almighty God to turn to and precisely that is what we want to remind you through this article.

The King David says:

1 O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

Psalm 6:1-4

David was troubled, he was going through a terrible time and he knew who he should go to was God, why? Because David knew that God is powerful, he knew His attributes and at the same time recognized that no one else could help him, that it was not about professional help or a friend, but at that time he needed the hand of God.

With this we are not saying that you have to isolate yourself to the point of not trusting anyone at the time of the trial, we are only saying that God should be the first to know of your difficulty and give Him your trust completely.

If you feel terribly bad, go before God, ask Him. He will listen to you and will hold you in His arms, God is never so busy as not to answer you. Deliver your burden to Him!
