I will praise You with all my heart

As a child we are taught the Word of God and songs that are centered in the same Bible, that fill us and teach us about the greatness of the Lord, how we should sing to Him.

We must worship God with new songs as are His mercies, which accompany us day after day.

Put Your heart at the Lord’s disposal, to sing of His great love, to give Him the glory and to express to Him that He is good and wonderful, that is why His name is blessed.

He must be exalted through His creation, worship Him with a true feigned adoration but out of the soul, God is God and therefore must receive all the best from us.

From our earliest years, praise becomes a spiritual language through which we learn to relate to God. The songs we hear in childhood are not merely melodies; they are teachings that shape our faith, reminding us of who God is and what He has done. Through worship, Scripture becomes alive in our hearts, and biblical truths are engraved in our memory in a way that often accompanies us for the rest of our lives.

Worship is not static or repetitive by obligation, but a living expression that grows as we walk daily with the Lord. When Scripture calls us to sing new songs, it does not mean abandoning what has already been written, but responding afresh to the mercies that God renews every morning. Each new day brings reasons to praise Him, even in the midst of difficulties, because His faithfulness never fails.

Placing our heart at the Lord’s disposal implies surrender. It means recognizing that worship is not about musical ability, vocal talent, or public recognition, but about a heart fully yielded to God. True praise flows from gratitude, from understanding His grace, and from acknowledging His sovereignty over every area of our lives.

I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

Psalm 86:12

This declaration from the psalmist reflects the essence of genuine worship: it is wholehearted, sincere, and eternal in purpose. To glorify God’s name forever is not limited to a moment of song, but extends to a lifestyle that honors Him in words, actions, and attitudes. Praise becomes an ongoing testimony of our dependence on Him.

The name of God must always be exalted by all His creation, that everything that breathes on this earth and even the deepest part of the abyss will worship God. The sea and its inhabitants, the heavens and everything that flies there, and everything that is in the field created by God must surrender to great majesty and honor His name for ever and ever.

Creation itself continually proclaims the glory of God. From the vastness of the oceans to the smallest living creature, all existence points back to the Creator. When we worship, we join this universal chorus that declares His greatness, aligning our voices with the heavens and the earth.

Who like You oh my God? You are my powerful God who has never lost a battle, so I will praise You because You are good with all Your creation, We will give you songs with joy. With joy we will say “my castle, my fortress and my shield, because my livelihood comes from You my God, to You I will exalt with songs saying alleluia”. God lives and reigns with power, every nation give songs and exalt the Name of the One who made the heavens and the earth, to Him we give all glory, all the gods and kings of the earth bow down before Him offering worship only to Him.

In acknowledging God as our refuge and provider, praise becomes a declaration of trust. We sing not only because life is easy, but because God remains faithful in every season. His reign is eternal, His power unmatched, and His name worthy of exaltation among all nations. To Him alone belongs the glory, today and forever.

We will sing and rejoice all our days
Praise the memory of God's holiness
