The book of Psalms is full of incredible songs, some of them talking about the Messiah, others of won wars, another confessing sins, such as Psalm 51, a Psalm where David confesses his sin, that sin he committed by murder to Uriah (2 Samuel 2:11). Do you think David committed this sin and it just didn’t hurt him? Well, no, this Psalm is a clear expression that he had been silent for a long time and wanted his lips to publish praises to our God again.
The children of God also sin although this does not justify us, but in fact, the Bible tells us that we have a lawyer for when we sin, which is Jesus Christ (1 John 2:1). Now, a distinctive mark of a child of God is the constant struggle with sin, the hatred of it, and a great blow to the soul when it comes to committing it.
