Our daily praise: “Almighty God”

In the midst of every process of life we must keep a praise on our lips, and that praise is that God is Almighty, that in the midst of the adversities of life, although the sea is agitated, we know that Jesus is there on our boat to calm us in the most terrible storm.

From each process we can learn something, since God uses these adversities to mold us more to the character of Christ. Besides this, in those terrible moments of life we can get our best praise for God, adore Him in the midst of the most cruel tempest, know that He is there, yes, even when everything seems gray knowing that God is Almighty.

Many times we think that praise should only flow from our lips when everything is going well, when prayers are answered quickly, and when blessings are visible. However, Scripture teaches us that true worship is often born in the midst of pain, uncertainty, and lack. It is precisely there, when human strength fails, that the greatness of God is revealed most clearly.

There are some words spoken by Habakkuk that can comfort us greatly on this day:

17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Habakkuk 3:17-19

These words remind us that faith is not dependent on circumstances. Habakkuk declares joy in God even when everything that normally sustains life seems to have disappeared. This is a powerful lesson for us today, because it shows us that our hope must be anchored in who God is, not in what we have or what we see around us.

Although we lack everything, even if there is no food, even though we are in the midst of the disease, even though we are going through the most terrible process, even if the worst of the worst comes to us, with all that, we will rejoice and rejoice in the God of our salvation.

In moments of loss or confusion, praise becomes an act of trust. When we lift our voices to glorify God in difficult times, we are declaring that He remains sovereign, faithful, and present. This kind of praise transforms our hearts, strengthens our spirit, and reminds us that God has never abandoned His people.

Although we do not have anything at all, with all of that we give our best praise to our God every day because He is Almighty God and sustains us in every moment of our lives.

God’s power is not diminished by our weakness; on the contrary, His strength is perfected in it. He carries us when we cannot walk, He comforts us when words are not enough, and He renews our hope even when the night seems endless.

Even if the universe trembles and the foundations of the earth are removed, even if this earth is split in two, with all that, we will give glory and honor to our God.

This attitude of worship keeps our faith alive. It helps us remember that storms are temporary, but God is eternal. Our praise becomes a testimony, not only for ourselves but also for those who witness our trust in God during adversity.

We invite you to give your best praise to God in the midst of whatever tribulations you are experiencing. God is good and powerful to keep us firm until the end.
