Praise God with musical instruments

Joy comes to our hearts when we praise God with all our hearts, even when we leave our problems in the hands of God.

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Psalm 150:1

When we enter the house of the Lord we should do it with joy and rejoicing, and glorify Him because He is great and wonderful. Prostrate before Him with praise.

Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Psalm 150:2

The greatness of the Lord is wonderful and we should praise Him for these things created by Him, because without Him nothing is possible. Because He is great and strong God. He created the heavens and the earth, and everything that dwells in it.

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Psalm 150:3

If we listen to the sound of the flute, we will realize how special it is, because its sound is sweet and delicate and leads us to praise God. Strings are another way of manifesting the grace of God and joy for each one of us.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

Psalm 150:5

Well, not only do we stay here, but we are impressed to see the words of the psalmist David. They are encouraging words exhorting us to praise God, with loud cymbals, with high sounding cymbals.

The psalmist ends by exhorting every living being to praise God:

Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 150:6

In writing this verse the psalmist understood that every created thing that breathes on the face of the earth should praise God. It includes us who are His creation, everything that is alive on earth, under the earth, in the sea and in the confines and deep, in the heavens. Everything that breathes has to worship only Him, the Great I Am, the Creator of all things:

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
