Kanye West, a famous American rapper who has professed Christianity since last year and is a candidate for the presidency of the United States, recently published an election announcement through which he urges Americans to turn to faith and work together to achieve change. In the ads West says:
What is the best for our nation? Our people? What is fair? True justice? We have to think about all these things together as a people.
Kanye West also brought up “conflicting” topics like prayer in schools:
We, as a people, will rekindle our nation’s commitment to faith, to what our Constitution calls ‘the free exercise of religion’, including, of course, prayer.
In addition to his election announcement, Kanye West released a song through his Twitter account with the theme “NAH NAH NAH.” In the scenes of the music video there is a Star Wars atmosphere. The song, in addition to having a Christian message, also deals with his candidacy for the presidency.
This new song also talks about how we must have the utmost trust in the Lord and let Him be the one who protects us and fights all our battles:
Overthrow, send the drones in All the maneuvers, feelin’ closed in I don’t need to strike back, I let God fight my battles.
THE WHOLE TEAM IS SO ENERGIZED THAT I HAD TO RELEASE THEME MUSIC NAH NAH NAH pic.twitter.com/p3NhTV11cN
